Refractory Laminatealso often referred to as fireproof laminate, is a decorative surface material widely used in architectural decoration, furniture manufacturing, kitchen cabinets, laboratory countertops, and other areas. It has various designations and the scientific name is thermosetting resin impregnated paper high pressure laminate (HPL - Decorative High-pressure Laminate).
Refractory laminates are a versatile material that combines aesthetics and practicality, and are particularly suited to decorative projects where fire protection is a critical issue.

Fire rating of Refractory laminate according to different standards (such as the national standard GB8624) is divided into A, B and other levels, A-class fire-resistant laminate fire-resistant time can reach more than 1.5 hours, while the B level is about 1 hour, the specific fire-resistant time is also related to the thickness of the laminate.

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning suggestions for fire-resistant board products:
◆ Please use a damp cloth or sponge to clean the surface, and use a mild soap or detergent. Then spray the entire surface with warm water and wipe dry.
◆ For stains that are more difficult to clean, such as coffee or tea, you can use a mild household detergent and baking soda mixed into a uniform paste; use a hard nylon brush to clean the stained area (about 15 to 20 brushing back and forth). Do not scrub excessively to avoid damaging the surface treatment.
◆ For stubborn stains that cannot be cleaned by the above methods, concentrated household bleach or nail polish remover should be used; use a cotton ball soaked in bleach or nail polish remover and gently scrub the stain for 2 minutes; use warm water spray to clean the entire surface and wipe dry with a soft cloth; if the stain gradually disappears and the surface of the fireproof board is not affected, these cleaning steps can be repeated.
Remind:
Prolonged contact of the surface of refractory products with bleaching products will cause discoloration. Therefore, spray the surface after cleaning. If you do not spray, even a small amount of detergent on the surface of refractory products will cause damage. Dry residues may not be visible, but moisture from beverage containers may reactivate them and cause damage and stains. Baking trays and other heating appliances (such as electric frying pans) placed directly on the product surface will damage the product's appearance. Please use an insulating mat or metal rack for placement.
Note:
◆ Do not use acidic or abrasive cleaners, which will damage the surface of fire-resistant board products. Alkaline drainage cleaners will damage the surface of fire-resistant board products. If such cleaners splash onto the surface of the product, they need to be cleaned immediately and rinsed with clean water several times.
◆ Hair, textile and food dyes can cause stains. If such liquids are splashed onto the surface of the product, they must be cleaned immediately with dishwashing liquid or an all-purpose cleaner.
◆ Do not use oven cleaner directly on unprotected worktops. Clean any remaining cleaner immediately and rinse with water several times.
◆ Rust removers contain strong chemicals that can cause damage. If there is any rust remover residue on the surface, please clean it immediately with soda water and rinse it with clean water several times.
◆ Steel wool or other highly abrasive tools will damage the surface of fire-resistant board products. Do not use these tools for cleaning; do not place steel wool on the surface of the product, as it will cause corrosion and stains.
